Parents are asking about vaccinating kids returning to school.
Mumps. Kids should get TWO doses of mumps vaccine. Many immunization programs already include two doses with the standard measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine...but now it's official.
Varicella. Parents want to know if their kids need a SECOND dose of the chickenpox vaccine. U.S. authorities are recommending a booster at age 4 to 6 to increase immunity before kids start school.
