Skyrizi (sky-RIH-zee, risankizumab) will add to the growing list of biologics for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

Biologics for psoriasis fall into two buckets...TNF-alpha blockers (Humira, etc) or interleukin blockers (Stelara, Tremfya, etc).

Skyrizi blocks interleukin-23 (IL-23)...similar to Tremfya (guselkumab). Stelara (ustekinumab) blocks both IL-12 and IL-23.
